Westgate Kids Ministry is focused on the discipleship of children, their parents, and the volunteers who serve. We want to partner with and equip parents to raise a generation of children who desire to grow with Jesus, engage in community, and reach their neighbors and the nations.

Safety is our priority, which means we take steps to keep your kids safe before they even get here. Our dedicated volunteers are screened and have had a background check. Security volunteers are in place to monitor our Westgate Kids entrances. We desire to provide the safest environment so that you, our parents, can have peace of mind that your kids are well cared for.

When you arrive on Sunday morning, the Westgate Kids Check-In area is in the South Atrium near the Family Entrance.

On arrival you will:

  • Fill out a first-time guest form

  • Be provided a name tag for each child with unique security codes

  • Receive a matching parent security tag

You will then be directed by one of our volunteers as to where to take your children for their classes.

At the end of service:

  • Make your way to our Westgate Kids entrance

  • Show your parent security tag to the security team member

  • Proceed to your child’s classroom and provide your parent security tag to the classroom leader

The Gospel Project Curriculum

Westgate Kids uses the Gospel Project curriculum, which takes kids on a Christ-centered chronological journey through Scripture. Here kids will discover how the Gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the Gospel, their hearts are transformed.

Early Childhood / Preschool

We strive to provide a place for your little ones, birth - pre-k, to discover their loving Savior through age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, games, and snacks. In these environments they will encounter God and His Word using hands-on activities and play-centered learning.

Westgate Kids has created two separate elementary classes designed to allow kids to learn about God in the way He designed them too!

  • 9:00am – Is a small group environment, where kids have the opportunity to go deeper as they participate in worship, live Bible story teaching and small group, age-appropriate discipleship, activities, and games.

  • 10:45am – Is a lively, fun, large group environment where all elementary kids participate in fun group games, an extended time of worship, Bible lessons, object lessons and age-appropriate discipleship activities.

Your kids are welcome to come to one service or both where they will encounter that week’s lesson in two different ways.

Kids Serve

Westgate Kids Serve is a dynamic group of 4th-12th grade students, who desire to use their time and talents to glorify God by serving in our Westgate Kids Sunday morning classrooms. This program allows our older kids to be role models for the younger kids as they work in partnership with an adult class leader to create an environment where kids can grow in relationship with God as well as each other.

Wednesday Night Kids

Wednesday Night Kids is a fun, exciting discipleship program for kindergarten - 5th grade students. Each Wednesday is designed to help kids grow, connect, and build an understanding of the Christian faith using the Alliance Kids Discover Land curriculum, designed to follow a 3-year cycle and continually build into kids 6 months to 5th grade. Lessons are designed to shape a Biblical worldview by following a "4 Rights" framework. Visitors in kindergarten through fifth grade are always welcome throughout the year.

Our weekly Bible lesson allows students to see the thread of redemption by highlighting the Four-Fold Gospel Alliance Distinctive throughout the overview of the Bible. We hope your student can join us for Wednesday evenings filled with friends, Bible study, and games!

  • 6:30-8pm

  • September 11 through May 8

  • $15 per child
