Connecting Generous Hearts to Kingdom Purpose
The Westgate Chapel Legacy Team exists to help accelerate our vision forward of being a Jesus-centered community known for intentionally sharing God's love with both our neighbors and the nations--through intentional generosity. We understand that within our church family there are individuals who are passionate about financial stewardship, living lives marked by generosity and who feel a God-given calling to invest in Kingdom impact and help accelerate the vision of the church. With that in mind, members of the Legacy Team are invited to prayerfully commit to faithful giving/tithing, while also giving above and beyond their regular contributions. This team will play a vital role in resourcing the vision God has entrusted to Westgate Chapel, helping us reach more people--both locally and globally--with the life-transforming message of the Gospel.
Romans 12:6-8
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Legacy Team Vision 2026-2027
As we step into year two of the Westgate Chapel Legacy Team, we are focused on three strategic priorities: communicating our highest priorities with clarity, completing significant projects that will pave the way for our 2027 strategic generosity initiative, and strengthening our church's tithing foundation before expanding generosity to other areas. Pursuing these priorities positions us to accelerate the vision God has entrusted to us and to build a lasting foundation that will sustain our church’s growth and impact for generations to come.
